car maintenance is very important during the summer, because high temperatures can be sources of car accidents.

A car receiving direct sunlight can reach temperatures of up to 80 degrees, which can have consequences on our body. In extreme cases, those high temperatures in the car can even lead to death.

However, road accidents can also be generated due to the effects that heat produces in our body, such as drowsiness, inattention, and aggressiveness because we are not comfortable in the car, and we get angry about anything. That is why it is necessary to have a good car maintenance plan during the summer.

Car maintenance during the summer: what you should know

There are several ways to avoid excessive heat in the car since we cannot eliminate it, but we will prevent temperatures that can cause a health problem. First, use air conditioning or climate control if we have it, something that most cars carry. Some people refuse to use it because it hurts their throat.

However, this can be avoided by changing the filters when necessary and putting them at a suitable temperature. The air conditioning must be activated after we sit down and open the windows; and keep them open for another minute when the car runs.

We must raise the windows when we notice a notable drop in temperature. Furthermore, it is essential to park the car in the shade whenever possible.

Putting a sun visor on the front window and another on the steering wheel is also beneficial. In this way, the temperature will drop at least ten degrees, and we will not burn our hands when entering.
