I had a really great overall experience with A1! Their customer service was fantastic, from helping me over the phone to get everything set up for my classes, to practicing driving with the best instructor, Corrie! After just a few classes, I got my license, and the entire process was smooth and not stressful at all. Highly recommend!

This is the place to be if you want to learn how to drive. I had previously signed up with another driving school, had absolutely no experience and he just took me on the road with no heads up. That wasn’t the best approach, luckily on the next session I met Carlos (R.I.P) who was absolutely amazing. He took me to a parking lot and had me do turns, and learning all the basics which is the best approach for someone with no experience. He then told me about A1 driving and that’s where all the magic started. Everyone of the instructor is amazing at what they do, they’ll make sure you have all the skills you need not just to pass the test but a good and safe driver. I couldn’t have been any happier with them😊

I was the most anxious student there was. I had family members that REFUSED to teach me to drive because of how horrible I was behind the wheel. I took classes with Patricia, David, and Carlos. They were all phenomenal and each had amazing advice. They really take the time to personalize the experience and give great pointers. I appreciated them all so much and the customer service was equally impressive. Worth every dollar! Thanks to A1 I am not only licensed but confident and safe behind the wheel. Would recommend strongly for new drivers or even those that need a refresh before getting behind the wheel.

In my opinion this is the best place to get your license and to practice. I had a great experience with my driving instructors, they gave me the confidence for my actual driving test. I felt really prepared and less nervous. The people that work here made it a beeeze schedule my driving test and they helped me with my paperwork.

I only took the driving lessons behind the wheel. My instructor David was amazing! He was thorough and funny. He kept everything light and the drive was scenic. His reassurance helped build my confidence which is needed for student/ new drivers. I would definitely recommend this place and they are very prompt in answering emails. So don't hesitate if you're on the market for a driving school. They do offer package deals too.

Excelente!! I did apply for my license and start my process since the beginning with you guys, and you were really helpful and kind, thank you very much, you are really professional and a plus is that you're bilingual, which helped me a lot... of course 5 stars and more!!

When I first came to apply for my license, I had no idea where to start or what I needed. When a friend of mine recommended A1, I gave it a shot! They took care of everything from a-z. They improved my driving skills, pointed out the rights and wrongs, as well as giving me pointers on what the driving inspector will take extra notice on. They made me pass with flying colors and I got my license thanks to them! Beautiful customer service and treated me like family!
Very fluent in Spanish as well!

Very kind people which is a must for when your teaching someone to drive. I was super nervous but with how they taught and helped me out through the lesson it all vanished. Highly recommend this place if you need to learn how to drive but need a friendly environment to learn.

Driving is something I had always been nervous about, when it came down to being behind the wheel. A friend had recently recommended A-1 Driving to me, not only from the jump had I felt comfortable, but confident behind the wheel! A-1 is really the best in CT! We needed to pass our 8-Hour driving course in short time to make it for a driving test we had booked with the CT DMV in Enfield. We called EVERYWHERE and we could barely get in touch with a real person let alone get the needed form on time. A-1 made it happen and even met up with me so I could pick up the form directly instead of waiting for it in the mail. THANKS SO MUCH YOU GUYS ROCK!

INFORMACIÓN DEL DMV

El Curso de 8 Horas, también llamado el Curso de Drogas y Alcohol, es requerido para obtener su licencia.

Ofrecemos clases de manejo para adultos, incluyendo el Curso de 8 Horas en línea para adultos. El Curso de 8 Horas está dividido en 4 partes. Todos los estudiantes deben asistir a las partes 1 a 4 para completar el curso y recibir su certificado. 

No podemos procesar su certificado del Curso de 8 Horas sin su número de Permiso de Aprendizaje. Si aún no tiene su permiso, puede tomar el Curso de 8 Horas de todas formas. Simplemente, infórmenos cuando obtenga su permiso para que podamos procesar su certificado.

Todos los certificados de educación vial son ELECTRÓNICOS y serán emitidos en el sistema del DMV al completar el curso.

No podemos procesar certificados sin su número de Permiso de Aprendizaje. Si aún no tiene su permiso, puede tomar el Curso de 8 Horas de todas formas. Simplemente, infórmenos cuando obtenga su permiso para que podamos procesar su certificado. Recibirá una copia de su certificado por correo electrónico.

Ofrecemos lecciones de manejo para estudiantes de 16 años en adelante, especializado para adolescentes. Se requiere que tengas tu Permiso de Aprendizaje de CT para tomar cualquier lección Behind the Wheel.

Ya sea que apenas estés aprendiendo a conducir o que hayas estado manejando por años, te proporcionamos el entrenamiento Behind the Wheel que necesitas. Conduce de forma segura con los instructores pacientes, amigables y profesionales de A1-Driving.com. Nuestro entrenamiento para conductores cubre todo lo que necesitas saber para pasar el examen de manejo y convertirte en un conductor seguro y confiado.
